John Leathem: June 2, after a long illness, Mr. JOHN LEATHEM,  aged 61 years, for nearly thirty years belonging to the staff of  the Sydney Morning Herald, leaving a wife and large family to mourn their loss.

LEATHEM: In fond remembrance of my dear father John Ebb LEATHEM.

Who died June 2, 1877, aged 62 years.  

Though dead not forgotten.
