MRS. MARY A. O'LEARY.

The death occurred at St. Joseph's Hospice yesterday of Mrs. Mary Ann O'Leary, relict of the late Jeremiah John O'Leary, of Terania Street, North Lismore.

Mrs. O'Leary, who was born at Gundarimba, was a daughter of the late Francis Schneider, an early settler in that district, She married, at Gundurimba.

Her husband was for some year’s manager of the old Foley's butter factory. After residing in various parts of the State Mr. and Mrs. O'Leary settled in Lismore, where she resided for many years.

She is survived by two Son's Messrs Jack and Vincent (tim) of Lismore; Vera (Mrs. Donnelly), Bentley; Lillian (Mrs. Harrison), Bexhill; Ivy (Mrs. R. Pillinging) Balina;  Madge (Mrs. Burrows), Rose and Florrie (Mrs. H. Grennan), of Lismore. She was predeceased by her husband 13 years ago. 

Her funeral will leave St. Carthage Cathedral today after a service commencing at 2 p.m. for interment in the Catholic portion of the Lismore cemetery.

Will leave St. Carthage's Cathedral TO-DAY (THURSDAY), after a service commencing at 2 p.tn, for interment In the Catholic portion of the general cemetery.

Older residents of Gundurimba were well represented yesterday when Father Troy commenced the service for the late Mrs. Mary Ann O'Leary prior to interment in the Catholic portion of the general cemetery. 

Mrs. O'Leary was a native of the Gundurimba area and spent all her youth and portion of her married life in that district. The pallbearers at the church and graveside were Messrs. Jack and Vincent (sons), C. Harrison, R. Pilling, senior, and H. Grennan (sons in-laws) and R. Pilling, junior (grandson). Cochran Bros, conducting funeral arrangements.

Wounded In Action
Mrs. M. O’Leary, of Macaulay Street, North Lismore has received word that her son, Sgt. V. P (Tim) O'Leary, has been wounded in action in New Guinea, and is now in a military hospital in Australia.
